The CHBC was organized in 1997 to provide a formal link between various organizations committed to business development related to hydrogen. Membership meetings approximately at quarterly intervals are held regionally within California. These meetings include technical presentations, updates on regional hydrogen affairs, as well as member company activities in the hydrogen field.
NCSEA is a volunteer-based grassroots membership organization established in 1975 by professional and lay solar enthusiasts. Its mission is to accelerate the adoption of solar technology as a primary energy source in this century. - Business type: nonprofit organization, trade association

Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) is a global trade association that represents the semiconductor and flat panel display equipment and materials industries. Founded in 1970 in the United States, SEMI has evolved into a worldwide organization committed to free trade and open markets. The primary goal of SEMI is to help its members expand their global marketing opportunities and improve access to their customers and industry, government and civic leaders. SEMI accomplishes this goal by providing its members with up-to-date, industry-specific information and educational resources needed to manage their company and market their products more effectively.
The California Solar Energy Industries Association (CAL SEIA) was founded in 1977 as a nonprofit solar industry trade association organized by professionals of the solar energy industry, which includes small scale solar thermal, photovoltaic, and solar thermal electric technology companies or others doing solar-related business in the State of California. CAL SEIA members are committed to the advocacy of solar energy in the public, legislative, and policy arenas and pledge to conduct their business in a manner which conforms with its published Code of Ethics. CALSEIA serves as a forum for the discussion of the legal, economic and technical issues affecting the use of solar energy. By becoming a source for information, CALSEIA will educate members and non-members alike about the application of clean and self-renewing energy available from the sun.
The IEPA is a non-profit trade association representing the interests of firms involved with cogeneration, wind, solar, hydroelectricity, and geothermal technologies. The IEPA advocates policies that create market opportunities for the independent power industry.
