The CHBC was organized in 1997 to provide a formal link between various organizations committed to business development related to hydrogen. Membership meetings approximately at quarterly intervals are held regionally within California. These meetings include technical presentations, updates on regional hydrogen affairs, as well as member company activities in the hydrogen field.
The World Fuel Cell Council was founded as a non-profit association in 1991 by a number of fuel cell manufacturers and material suppliers. The objective of the Council is to promote the most rapid commercialisation of this benign technology worldwide. Members of the Council include companies involved in the development of a variety of fuel cell technologies for both stationary and mobile applications.
The FCIA is currently developing educational programs for hydrogen and fuel cell science/engineering in NSW Australia (2004 start) ,and will progress such through Australia in year 2006.The FCIA covers all fuel cell developments within Australia.
