The Florida Solar Energy Industries Association (FlaSEIA), founded in 1977, is a nonprofit professional association of companies involved in the solar energy industry. Members include manufacturers, distributors, contractors, retailers and consultants who provide solar water heating, pool heating and solar electric systems. Research Centers and Utilities also are members.
The Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) was formed by the unification of the Canadian Photovoltaic Industry Association and the Canadian Solar Industry Association in August of 1992. The two associations joined to promote the increased usage of solar technology in Canada. CanSIA is a registered non-profit organization whose membership is comprised of private individuals, companies and governments interested in solar technology.

The mission of PV-UK is to advance the development and use of photovoltaic (PV) technology. Since 1992, it has actively promoted the use of PV within the UK as well as for export. PV-UK has Working Groups on Market Strategy, Grid Connected Issues, and training. The Association has 53 members, who represent the wide cross-section of expertise in the UK. Members are drawn from industry, universities and consultancy practices, and many are world leaders in their field(s). Expertise includes product manufacture, systems design and installation, R&D, consultancy and project management.
The El Paso Solar Energy Association (EPSEA) was founded in 1978 and is the oldest, continuously active, local solar organization in the United States. EPSEA publishes a monthly newsletter on solar energy and EPSEA activities. The purpose of EPSEA is to further the development and application of solar energy and related technologies with concern for ecologic, social and economic fabric of the region (West Texas, Southern New Mexico, Northern Mexico). In addition to monthly meetings/seminars, EPSEA conducts technology demonstrations, information booths, and conducts project development work related to renewable energy technologies in the Southwest U.S. and Northern Mexico. The California Solar Energy Industries Association (CAL SEIA) was founded in 1977 as a nonprofit solar industry trade association organized by professionals of the solar energy industry, which includes small scale solar thermal, photovoltaic, and solar thermal electric technology companies or others doing solar-related business in the State of California. CAL SEIA members are committed to the advocacy of solar energy in the public, legislative, and policy arenas and pledge to conduct their business in a manner which conforms with its published Code of Ethics.
