The Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association represents and serves energy professionals and renewable energy users. The Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association represents the solar industry in Colorado. CoSEIA is the Colorado state chapter of the national Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) , and was organized in 1989.
The Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) was formed by the unification of the Canadian Photovoltaic Industry Association and the Canadian Solar Industry Association in August of 1992. The two associations joined to promote the increased usage of solar technology in Canada. CanSIA is a registered non-profit organization whose membership is comprised of private individuals, companies and governments interested in solar technology.

Officially incorporated in 1994, the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) is a non-profit organization mandated to promote renewable bio-fuels (ethanol, biodiesel) for automotive transportation through consumer awareness and government liaison activities. The membership includes representatives from fuel marketing, fuel producing/processing, energy, agriculture, agri-business, forestry, engineering and environmental organizations, researchers and individuals who all share a common interest in developing alternative fuels from renewable resources.
The Center for Resource Solutions (CRS), based in San Francisco, is dedicated to promoting renewable energy and economic and environmental sustainability. CRS administers national and international programs that preserve and protect the environment through the design of sustainable energy strategies and technologies.
The CHBC was organized in 1997 to provide a formal link between various organizations committed to business development related to hydrogen. Membership meetings approximately at quarterly intervals are held regionally within California. These meetings include technical presentations, updates on regional hydrogen affairs, as well as member company activities in the hydrogen field.
Cogeneration is nowhere reaching its full potential in Europe. At present it is used to produce only about 10% of the EU's electricity - but at least 30% is achievable. COGEN EUROPE was created in 1993, with support from DG XVII (now DG Energy and Transport) of the European Commission, to reflect the clear need for great cooperative efforts at a European Level to unlock the full potential for Cogeneration.
The Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (CRES) is the Greek national centre for Renewable Energy Sources (RES), Rational Use of Energy (RUE) and Energy Saving (ES). CRES was instituted as the national coordination centre in its areas of activity by Law 2244/94 (Production of Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources). CRES was founded in September 1987 by Presidential Decree 375/87. It is a public entity, supervised by the Ministry of Development, General Secretariat of Research and Technology, and has financial and administrative independence. Its main goal is the promotion of RES/RUE/ES applications at a national and international level, taking into consideration the environmental impact, in the production and use of energy. The Renewable Energy Policy Project was launched in August 1995 with the support and advice of the renewable energy community. Since its inception, REPP has investigated the relationship between policy, markets and public demand in accelerating the deployment of renewable energy technologies, which include biomass, hydropower, geothermal, photovoltaic, solar thermal, wind and renewable hydrogen.
