Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium, Inc.

The Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium, Inc. (GHPC) was established to implement the National Earth Comfort Program. Designed as a new program for the utility industry's Climate Challenge under the President's Climate Change Action Plan, this program is a collaborative effort with the U.S. Department of Energy and other public and private sector organizations.

Green Cape

The Green Cape Initiative is a Sector Development Agency established by the Western Cape Provincial government and The City of Cape Town. The Green Cape Initiative was established to unlock the manufacturing and employment potential in the Green Economy in the Western Cape. We assist in ensuring that the barriers to the growth of the green economy in the Western Cape are minimized and that the Western Cape is the investment destination of choice for businesses involved in the African Green Economy.

Geothermal Resources Council

The GRC is a tax-exempt, non-profit, educational association (501(c)(3). Formed in 1970, the Council was incorporated in the state of Washington in 1972, and in California in 1981. With members in more than 20 countries, the Council actively seeks to expand its role as the primary geothermal educational association throughout the world. The goals of the Council are to: Encourage the development of geothermal resources worldwide through the collection and timely distribution of data and technological information. Encourage and promote research, exploration and development of geothermal energy in ways compatible with the environment. Serve as a public forum for the world geothermal community, and provide transfer of objective and unbiased information on the nature of geothermal energy and its development. Cooperate and communicate with academic institutions, industry and government agencies on economically and environmentally sound development and utilization of geothermal resources.

Global Approval Program for Photovoltaics (PV GAP)

The Global Approval Program for Photovoltaics (PV GAP) is a not-for-profit organization, registered in Switzerland, that focuses on certifying the quality of PV systems. PV GAP also concentrates on the enforcement of international standards that promote the integration of quality. The organization will work to get testing standards into the financing stream. It will also establish international reciprocity of recognition of standards and testing laboratories.

Provides public information materials about geothermal energy.
